Hosts Brazil will be looking for another comprehensive victory following their 3-0 thumping of Japan in the opening match, while Mexico will be hoping to register their first points of the tournament having lost narrowly to Italy.

Italy lock horns with Japan at the Arena Pernambuco in Recife on Wednesday evening for their second Group A game of the 2013 Confederations Cup. Italy triumphed over Mexico in their opening game and will now look to pick up another three points against the Japanese as they will want to avoid a nervy final group game against Brazil. Meanwhile Japan suffered a 3-0 defeat to the hosts and will be in danger of going out if they fail to come away with a point.
