Irish eyes will veer to Alive Alive Oh on day three of Royal Ascot as Tommy Stack’s progressive filly will look to bag the Ribblesdale Stakes for the Emerald Isle for the third year on the spin and she has shown some smart form over the last few months and she is one of the leading contenders for what looks an intriguing renewal of the Group Two event.

Thursday's Tercentenary Stakes looks set to be an absolute thriller as the bookies struggle to separate the leading contenders for the 1 mile, 2 furlong contest (Channel 4, 5pm). A small blanket can be thrown over the leading fancies at this stage and there is a real battle for a red hot renewal of the Group Three race at Royal Ascot.

The first race on day three at Royal Ascot is the excellent Norfolk Stakes and this year's renewal is looking like a cracking affair. The Norfolk is a Group 2 contest for two-year-old horses, run over the flying five furlongs at the Berkshire track. The fastest juveniles in the UK and Ireland will be doing battle on Thursday while there is also an interesting raider from across the Atlantic to run the rule over.
